OBJECTIVE:
Install mobile video conferencing systems with the following requirements: Windows OS, Windows patching, application updates, antivirus protection, Zoom, touchscreen, speakers, and microphone.
Primary Issues to Resolve
Hearing challenges - Depending on the room size, participants may be far away from the mobile video conferencing system and onboard microphone.
SOLUTION - Provide Shure wireless and wired handheld mics. A Shure mic pre-amp was installed on the mobile video conferencing system to allow for volume control of up to 4 microphones.
Ongoing Support - Remote support, windows patching, and antivirus needed for the new video conferencing systems and onboard Windows PC.
SOLUTION - MSP services and software were provided with the Windows OS. This allows VCT to remote access the PC for troubleshooting, additional training, and any other needs the customer may have.
Video Conferencing and Support - Installed applications, such as Zoom, need to be updated on a regular basis.
SOLUTION - Through our MSP software, patching is approved by a VCT network engineer. During this time, the engineer can also approve updates of applications on the PC.
