Primary Issue to Resolve

• A large school district with 13 buildings and nearly 6,000 students realized they had a problem with their video surveillance. Many incidents were happening daily that they simply could not address due to the lack of video feed. Some of their cameras were non-functioning, some had cloudy lenses, some had been bumped and no longer provided the view they needed, and some were simply outdated and worked periodically. Items in the cafeterias were consistently missing; fights were taking place and issues in the parking lots were all occurring without any video feed to assist in evaluating exactly what had taken place. In the ever-growing district, it was imperative to be able to view entire campuses at a moment’s notice. It was becoming increasingly frustrating and, in some instances, dangerous.

  SOLUTION - Our sales and engineering team met with key personnel in the district as well as our Axis partner team and reviewed the district's challenges. We performed many walkthroughs, listened, and designed a solution to remedy this situation not only for today, but into the future. Once a camera layout was approved by the district, we went to work. We molded our work schedule to be minimally intrusive and always communicated our progress to key personnel. Vision Concept Technology carefully made sure to identify all the "blind spots" and our design resolved all the camera feed issues so when something occurred, a video record was available to view. We provided training on the system and to this day make sure the system is operating as designed.
